Agency in the Age of Extraction
An "Open-Mic" for Art & Action
An art and music event for passionate creatives to present their art, meet new people, and become inspired in a world experiencing chaos. Acknowledge the reality that things are falling apart — and find out how we get through it together.
TezCon is a community-run convention for the Tezos art ecosystem — a gathering of creatives, collectors, and builders. Organised by Ryan Tanaka and supported by Teia and Tezos.
The 2026 edition takes its theme from enshittification — the documented tendency of platforms to extract value from users until nothing of worth remains. TezCon 2026 is a space to push back: to share art, build genuine connections, and imagine what agency looks like in an age that too often strips it away.

A mutual aid zine compiled of art and writing from people currently living in Iran — all contributors kept anonymous for their protection. All proceeds go directly to the Iranian artists and no one else. Organised by Erika Lamothe with support from Scott, RubisCO, Malicious Sheep, Yoeshi, and Aria (in Iran).
Issue 1 features 13 Iranian artists and 9 volunteer artists — 32 pages of stories, messages, poems, and artwork. Presented at TezCon 2026 as a physical, printed zine alongside a live presentation, made possible in part by the Teia Community Event funding initiative.
"Be our voices." — a phrase that set this project in motion when internet blackouts in Iran silenced the community from being heard. Each time someone collects this zine, the funds are split evenly among the Iranian artists only.
